Dr. Juan Nunez is a contributing member of the NCCHC Task Force that revised the 2018 NCCHC Accreditation Standards for Health Services in Jails, Prisons, and Juvenile Facilities. He is also on the CCHP Clinical Provider Examination Review Sub-Committee. Dr. Nunez is an active Physician Surveyor for the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), Fellow of The American College of Correctional Physicians (ACCP), Past Board Member of The CCHP Board of Trustees and Past President of the ACCP. In 2023, Dr. Nunez was presented with The Armond Start Award of Excellence in correctional healthcare by The American College of Correctional Physicians.
