Ms. Alexa Moubarak is a LCSW currently supporting private practice clients in the states of New Jersey and Massachusetts. Ms. Moubarak received her MSW from Rutgers University and holds a certificate in Functional Medicine Health Coaching. She spent six years working in the Rhode Island and New Jersey prison systems with focuses on reentry services, policy analysis, research, program development, and psychotherapy. Additionally, she created and facilitated three trauma programs for incarcerated survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, yielding significant reductions in trauma-related symptoms. She continues to work with survivors of trauma by combining a highly-individualized psychotherapy and integrative medicine approach. Ms. Moubarak is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider.
