Mrs. Julie Wonsowicz-Moore is the Community Transition Manager with Maricopa County Correctional Health Services (CHS). She manages the reentry services in the Maricopa County jails. Julie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Julie has worked in the behavioral health field in Maricopa County for over 20 years, with a focus on the justice-involved population for the past 10 years. Prior to working at CHS, Julie worked in community behavioral health and successfully implemented three community Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) teams focused on reducing interactions with the criminal justice system and increasing quality of life outcomes for individuals with serious mental illness. In 2017, the FACT teams won the most innovative Behavioral Best Practice award. Julie has presented nationally at the National Council for Behavioral Health conference and was a member of a SAMSHA expert panel on the FACT model.
