Ms. Bruny Kenou is a mental health activist and medical student at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she serves as president-elect of her class. She graduated with Distinction in Neuroscience from Duke University in 2020. Ms. Kenou's passion for neuroscience and behavioral health innovation is evident through her research roles at institutions such as the National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH), her advising roles at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and her experience founding innovative behavioral health tech initiatives such as DukeLine and Lay Mental Health Advocates. She is a HopeLab Health Equity Fellow and now serves on the Social Mission Alliance Health Justice Council. In 2023, she received the Youth Innovator in Behavioral Health Award. Throughout her medical journey and beyond, Ms. Kenou aims to champion health equity though medical innovation and policymaking.
