Ms. Roxanna Sharifi is a fourth-year medical student at the Keck School of Medicine. She graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior. At Keck, she is part of the primary care program, which partners with Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles. Inspired by this experience, she joined a team of students to conduct research advancing awareness and legislation related to tattoo removal in California. Ms. Sharifi is committed to working with and advocating for current and formerly incarcerated individuals throughout her training and future medical career.
