Dr. Kozuki is a Project Director of the HRSA-funded ANEW Grant (2019-2023) at WA State Department of Corrections (DOC)  titled "Enhancing APRN Workforce Competencies: Combatting the Opioid Crisis in Rural and Underserved WA State Correctional Facilities". Dr. Kozuki is Associate Professor at Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics at University of Washington. Dr. Kozuki is a nationally certified PMHNP and State-licensed ARNP engaging in clinical practice at the minimum security units of Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC) of WA State Department of Corrections and a psychoanalyst and CPT therapist by training. Dr Kozuki's research focus is medication adherence research among individuals with schizophrenia and perinatal mental health. Dr. Kozuki is also the PI of the two past HRSA-funded workforce development projects focusing on the psychiatric advanced nursing workforce in an interdisciplinary environment.
