CCHP: Certified Correctional Health Professional

Becoming a Certified Correctional Health Professional is the next step in your professional advancement. The CCHP credential shows your mastery of NCCHC standards and your ability to apply them to support the quality of patient care. It’s a signal to the field that you are committed to correctional health care as a career. You’ll gain credibility with colleagues with this tangible evidence of your expertise.

The full-day preconference seminars on November 1 will cover the updated 2026 Standards (due to be published in August 2025).  The CCHP exam will reference only the 2018 Jail/Prison Standards and the CCHP-MH exam will reference only the 2014 Mental Health Care Standards for six months after publication of the new Standards. Registrants for the preconference seminars will receive free access to the on-demand video preparation course for each exam covering the relevant version of the standards for the exam. ,
