We are working with the Hyatt Regency Hotel to ensure the highest degree of sanitation and safety possible. We will be following guidelines of the CDC, Illinois and City of Chicago Departments of Public Health, and industry best practices. We promise to deliver the same high-quality educational programming and top-notch speakers our conference attendees have come to expect, while keeping your health and hygiene our top priority.
If You Are Sick
If you have a temperature, are showing any potential symptoms of COVID-19, or have tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home and request a refund.
As the City of Chicago requires all individuals to wear a mask in public indoor settings, with the exception of eating and drinking, NCCHC will require masks at the conference.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the Hyatt.
Physical Touching is Discouraged (Handshakes, Hugs, or Fist Bumps)
While many at the event are vaccinated and/or not concerned about the health risks that physical touch may present, we request that attendees, speakers, staff and sponsors respect a “no-touch” policy at the event and highly recommend washing your hands often to prevent illness.
Seating and Spacing
Seating will be spaced with the recommended distance between attendees as determined by the venue and its local government. We may limit attendance to meet such requirements.
Food and Beverage
We will be working with the Hyatt to minimize exposure/risk during food and beverage services.
Participants will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival at the event.
Guidance from the City of Chicago
Any unvaccinated people traveling from the states and territories on this list are advised to obtain a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Chicago or quarantine for a 10-day period upon arrival. Vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine or receive a negative test. The City of Chicago recommends that you bring a copy of your COVID-19 vaccination record.
