Gratuities, Taxes, and Fees

Housekeeping gratuities are $2.00 per person per room per day plus applicable taxes (11.5% ). Daily housekeeping is guaranteed. If not provided, the hotel will waive the gratuity. 

Destination Fee ($20 - mandatory in addition to $199/night room rate)

This fee covers several amenities, including:

  • Daily complimentary shuttle to Escambron Beach and Old San Juan.
  • Daily Yoga and Salsa Classes
  • Enhanced high speed internet access in guestrooms and public areas of the hotel
  • Two (2) complimentary bottles of water in guest rooms,
  • Coffee and tea service in the room, replenished daily
  • Use of fitness center 24/7
  • Use of towels and chaise lounges at the sun and pool deck
  • Free local calls, Toll free calls access.

Travel to the Hotel

  • The largest and most accessible airport is the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, commonly known as the San Juan Airport (SJU). There are 120+ daily nonstop flights to major cities throughout the United States.
  • There are nonstop flights available to/from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Hartford, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Newark, New York (JFK), Boston, Chicago (ORD), Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Raleigh-Durham, Nashville, St. Louis, and Denver.
  • Frontier, American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, United, Spirit, Avelo Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines fly between Puerto Rico and the continental USA.
  • A 15-minute taxi ride ($30-40) is the most convenient option from the airport. City taxies and Uber are available.
  • Parking is available at the hotel for overnight guests for $14. We do not recommend that you rent a car.
